Ibn al-Furat’s grammatical commentary patterns in the chapter on raised words: an analytical study
Abstract
The study aims to collect the comments that Ibn Al-Furat made on the opinions of grammarians in his book (Taysir Amsa Al-Insan Min Lahn Al-Lisan), whether these comments were violations, corrections, agreements, criticism, or analysis.
The study included: Clarification of the nominatives in the language.
It was divided into:
First: Ibn Al-Furat's comments in the subject section, and the issue of: the verbal (af'al) in astonishment, and the issue of the subject condition with na'ama and ba'sa.
Second: Ibn Al-Furat's comments in the subject deputy, followed by the issue of the preposition and the noun acting as the subject.
Third: Ibn Al-Furat's comments in the subject section, followed by the issue of: the state filling the place of the predicate.
Fourth: Ibn Al-Furat's comments in the nominative factor in the subject.
